Nearly 40 young runners hit the road this morning in the "Memorial Mile" in Boardman, wrapping up season 17 of the YMCA's FasKidz program. During the previous 6 weeks of training, they learned about distance running fundamentals, running form, safety on the roads, and racing strategies then put it all together in the mile stretch straight down State Route 224.
