We’ve heard your opinions. And we decided to listen. We are changing the 2nd leg of the 5k race to a dizzy bat portion, where you have to spin around a bat 15 times every 250m, for a total of 4 spins. If you have any questions about this change, the race in general, or just want to tell us something, please DM us or one of our founders, whose handles can be found in our bio. Be sure to watch our page for timetables and other info coming this week. The race takes place next Saturday at the Boardman High School Cross Country Course, we hope to see you there!

We are so excited to announce the first ever Boardman Hobbyjogger Cross Country Meet! Track is cool and all, but we decided we should show some love to cross country and host a cross country meet. Cost of entry is $5, and the race will be a standard 5k with special rules for each kilometer of the race. To make it even better, the race will be run on the infamous BHS Cross Country course. Registration can be found at the link in our bio, and other info such as awards, time tables, and sponsorships will be announced as they come up. We hope to see you on December 20th for this unique race!

To congratulate the girls on making state, we decided to include them in this post. Maybe we’ll do it in the future as well. Thanks for following along this season, we’ll see you in the winter and maybe we’ll make some reels in the offseason. Girls run at 1:40, boys at 2:20, live-streamed on MileSplit and we hope to see you down there.

I gotta say, expanding to 4 divisions in cross country was not the move. 15 teams make it out of our district. That’s over half. That’s way too many. Districts tomorrow at GlenOak. First step to qualifying to state, so we need some support. Gun goes off at 2:15, we’ll see you there.

This is it. Last time for the whole team. It’s been a great year and we’ll be missing the JVs dearly. But for now, AAC Championships tomorrow at 5. Shouldn’t be too bad of weather and should be a good day for everyone. See you then.

It’s crazy to think we’re almost at the end of the season. Less than 1 month away from the state meet and less than a week until our conference meet. What the hell. Legends Meet tomorrow, varsity at 1:30 and JV at 2. We’re going for the 3 peat and we need support so be there.

I don’t think I have anything to yap about today. Weird. Berlin Bear Den Dash tomorrow for the varsity squad, gun goes off at 9:30. Coach said it’s like the D1/D2 state meet combined so it’s gonna be awesome. See you then.

I’ll get straight to the point: cross country is way better than track and it’s not close. That’s all. Mahoning County Championships tomorrow, everyone runs at 5:20 if it doesn’t get canceled or moved. So get out there and support.

It’s about damn time. Sorry guys. I figured that we had to do something for our own meet. Plus that way we’ll be back on for the rest of the season. 40th Spartan Invitational tomorrow, varsity at 1:30, JV at 2:30. Be there and get some fries while you’re there.
