For those of you that don't know, my fiancé Nat was diagnosed with Stage III Grade 3 HER2+ Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in May and has been undergoing chemo and targeted therapy since early June. She will be needing surgery in the bear future and also radiation. Our dear friend and former member started a Go Fund Me to help us navigate the financial burden that comes with this diagnosis. Dearest members, We've had many ups & downs over the last seven years, including a crippling pandemic, but God's Grace has seen us through it all. I'm sure you've noticed many new faces & an increase in traffic which is great. This year we've been able to hit marks we haven't since opening & things have been looking better than ever. You are the reason for all of that, thank you! Unfortunately, we were recently made aware our landlord is selling the building & increasing our rent to nearly triple what we currently pay. Despite our progress, that amount far exceeds our monthly revenue. With that said, it is with great sadness & a heavy heart that this part of our journey must come to a close. We were to vacate by June, but we were able to extend thru July. As it stands, the last day for access will be Fri, July 7th. With such time restraint, everything must be sold at auction. That said, we need to prepare for the sale & clean & tie up any loose ends in the facility.We are so sorry to have to bring this news to you. This has been home to many of you for years. Those of you who joined as recently as today, haven't even had the opportunity to enjoy the facility, we are deeply sorry for that. You are all family to Nat and I. It's literally breaking my heart to the point of tears as I write. This project was ALWAYS about YOU, NEVER about profit. I wanted to create something special for you, a place where you'd feel comfortable & motivated, a place to achieve fitness goals that other gyms couldn't offer. It was never brought to life for money, but to provide a place people could call their home away from home and actually mean it.I am going to take some time away to gather my thoughts before making any future decisions. Right now I'm on an emotional roller coaster. If I find myself in a better place mentally & emotionally, and God's Grace allows, I would love to bring you a new home in the future. If or when that happens, we hope you all will consider us again. The Lord has His reasons for everything, I believe this is no exception.
