Hills were steep and so was the competition. Our girls battled it out and placed 3rd. Almost half of this varsity team is only in 7/8th grade! We are so proud of each of these young ladies and love how they build each other up!

Huge congratulations to Yunaimi Barrios Perez for her performance today. She placed 9th overall.

We had some PRs from the boys as well. Super proud of both of these varsity teams.

Another school record set at sectionals in the girls 4x400m relay!
Did I mention that Yunaimi, Emma, and Peyton are all in the 8th grade? Aliyah is a junior, so we will be returning this entire relay team next season 👀
Great job, ladies!
The previous 4x4 record was set in 2017 by Sierra Martin, Erika Johnson, Lilly Beth Morrison, and Amya Zatarain.

RECORD BREAKER!!! ⛓️‍💥
Junior Aliyah Hollingsworth set a new school record in the 200m dash with a time of 28.39 at sectionals... in only her first year of track and field!
The previous record was held by Breanna Sims from 2013.
