Growing up on the Qualla Boundary in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, Natalie Welch did not imagine herself running a sports business program at a private college in Oregon. But that is exactly where she is today.

Dr. Patrick Rishe became the Director of the Sports Business Program at Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis in June 2015. He is also the founder and president of Sportsimpacts, a sports consulting firm. Since 2010, Rishe has also worked as a contributing writer for Forbes.
