PBCFL #4 @ Palm Beach Central
OH cannot be stopped! At Palm Beach Central, THE OH Speech & Debate team placed in five events, taking home first place in Dramatic Performance and Congressional Debate. Overall, 18 entires placed in the top six of their event. These lions are on a roll and hope to keep the momentum going all the way to Nationals in Louisville!

Another hugely successful outing for The OH Speech & Debate Team! This month, OH saw another 3 entries earn first place: Allegra Vercesi (for the second month in a row), Alex Eidelkind, and Hila Matitiaev. With 15 placements overall and no sign of slowing down- these lions are developing a reputation as a powerhouse in palm beach county.

PBCFL #2 @ John I Leonard
PBCFL #2 was a true test for our first year competitors as the fields of competition were "mixed", meaning that rookies and veterans competed in the same pools per event. But that didn't stop our novice or veteran lions from "pawing" their way to victory. Allegra Vercesi, Emily Golbois, and the team of Kayleigh Flory and Lilly Gottfried all earned first place in their respective competitions. Overall, OH took home 19 placements!

PBCFL #1 @ Wellington High School
OH Speech & Debate dominated in their first showing of the '22-'23 school year. The team entered into four event types: Student Congress, Dup Interpretation, Extemporaneous Speaking, and Public Forum Debate; they earned first place in all four! Congratulations to novice Aiden Israeli, veterans Ashton Friedman and Ryan Adika, veteran Ben Cohen, veterans Bianca Costa and Zoey Zuckerman, veteran Hila Matitiaev, novice Jacob Starr, and novice Zachary Swietnicki for earning first place trophies
