Equanimity in Motion: Hatha & Qi Gong for Unshakable Presence

Step out of the cycle of craving and aversion. In this blended Hatha and Qi Gong practice, we move through deliberate postures and fluid energy work not to seek sensation or escape discomfort, but to refine our capacity for objective observation.Through slow, breath-led movement and grounded stillness, you will practice meeting every physical sensation, thought, and emotion exactly as it is. By observing shifts in the body without rushing to label them as pleasant or unpleasant, you build the inner stability needed to remain steady, clear, and unreactive both on and off the mat.

Format: Grounding Qi Gong opening, mindful Hatha posture hold, breath integration, and silent integration.

Focus: Non-reactive awareness, nervous system regulation, and clear perception (Vipassana in motion).

New to our VOD library this week: Three Doors to Mahabandha
This 75-minute practice moves through the full arc of the spine — from gentle pelvic tilts and twists, into standing strength and side-body opening, and finally into stillness with Mahabandha, the great lock. We work with the three doors of the body — pelvic floor, diaphragm, and the base of the neck — opening and sealing them to become more aware of the currents of energy within.
It's a class for those ready to go deeper into the subtler layers of practice, the Maya Koshas, and the stillness beneath the movement.
Watch it now in our VOD library, or come practice with us live — schedule's on the website.

A Sadhana Class that moves through the body in mirrored halves — right side, then left, retracing the same path. We open through the pelvic floor, clear with the cleansing SH breath, move through Goddess pose, Warrior One, Warrior Three, and Humble Warrior, and let Ujjayi breath hold our attention through to the end. Lengthening and engaging, side by side, until the whole body feels evenly met.

Strings & Sky: Anchoring the Body, Freeing the Mind

Think of your mind as a kite—designed to soar, explore, and catch the shifting winds of thought. The challenge isn’t to stop the kite from flying, but to ensure its movement doesn't pull you off balance.

In this blended Qi Gong and Yoga practice, we explore the art of gentle tethering. Through fluid, slow-flowing movement and intentional breathwork, we anchor the physical body like a grounded, relaxed weight. By cultivating deep relaxation in the muscles, joints, and nervous system, we allow the mind to wander, dream, and lift freely—without its sudden gusts creating tension or turbulence within.

What to Expect:

Qi Gong Grounding: Gentle, circular movements to regulate the nervous system, lower your center of gravity, and establish a firm physical anchor.

Yoga Flow: Mindful postures focusing on ease over effort, teaching the body to remain soft even when thoughts run fast.

Restorative Integration: A deep final relaxation to settle the body into stillness while the mind rests in quiet expansion.

Leave feeling rooted through your feet, open in your heart, and free in your mind—completely unaffected by the daily winds around you. All experience levels are welcome.

Return to yourself - https://mailchi.mp/keshavaradhayoga/return-to-yourself “Return to yourself one day before your death.”

His disciples asked him: “Does a person know on which day they will die?”

He said to them, “Then return to yourself today, lest you die tomorrow, and in this way, all your days will be spent abiding in your true self.”

Hip Mobility, Arm Strength & Core Stability
A class built around opposites finding each other: the hip softening open even as the arms find their strength, the core stabilizing even as the spine twists and bends. We move from seated ribcage circles through Down Dog, Chair Pose, and a final Śavāsana that returns the breath to the belly.
Join us live, Monday through Saturday — Radha at 8:30–9:30am and 10:00–11:15am EST, Keshava at 11:30am–12:45pm EST. Or practice this class, and hundreds of others, anytime through our growing VOD library — from your mat, wherever that happens to be.

New in the VOD library: Shoulders and Upper Back Awareness.
This practice moves from a whole-body Śavāsana into seated spine and pelvis awakening, hip openers, and gentle core activation, before rolling up into table stand, dragon lounge, and plank — where the shoulder blades contract and release to awaken the upper back through variations of locust pose. From there we rise to standing, moving through chair, pyramid, warrior one and two, reverse warrior, and side angle, before winding down with a gentle twist and bridge.
If your shoulders carry tension from the day, or your upper back could use more mobility and strength, this class offers a steady path there — one breath, one shape at a time.
Available now in the on-demand library at keshavaradhayoga.com.
