🚨 Important water safety reminder β€” straight from the United States Swim School Association (USSSA). πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ’§

The official USSSA is reminding families that inflatable rafts, rings, water wings and floats are NOT safety devices β€” and they can actually increase drowning risk when they create a false sense of security.

Floaties can be fun, but they should never replace active adult supervision, proper safety barriers, appropriate life jackets when needed, and most importantly, learning how to swim.

At Florida Swim School, we’re proud to share and reinforce water safety education backed by the United States Swim School Association. πŸ’™
