Lifeguard or water watcher? How about both!
Active supervision is a key layer of protection that should always be in place when you or your family are in, on, and around water.
Remember, while lifeguards are helpful and make the environment safer, they don't replace the critical need for close, constant, and capable supervision by an adult water watcher when a child in, on, or around water.
It's great practice to have both a lifeguard and a designated Water Watcher when possible, but lifeguards may not always present on-site and have to supervise all swimmers, making water watchers a must-have for every swimming adventure!
