Blue Angel's fly over on Friday!
The flight will depart from Boca Raton at 1 p.m., according to organizers. The planes will head south to fly over Broward County hospitals toward Fort Lauderdale. Then they will head west toward Memorial Hospital and then south over Miami and Homestead before circling back north, reaching West Palm Beach about 1:30 p.m.

The flyover by the Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron is part of “Operation America Strong,” which is intended to “honor and show support for those on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic, and salute healthcare and essential workers.”

The Blue Angels have reminded people for previous demonstrations that they should continue to practice social distancing and observe the flyover from the safety of their homes.

Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club was happy to help those in our community who are keeping us safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Club donated meals, including our popular Chicken Sorrentino and Bolognese Lasagna, to firefighters at three local fire stations in South Florida. The food was provided to help keep the first responders fueled and ready to save lives as they continue to work tirelessly around the clock during the Coronavirus outbreak. Megan O’Connell, Royal Palm’s Youth Manager, helped to deliver the meals on April 26, ensuring she adhered to the CDC social distancing guidelines and safety precautions.
