Congratulations to Team Boca NPL 2009 Girls goalkeeper Riley Goldberg on being named to the NPL Finals All-Tournament Team!

Riley earned the honor after a tremendous performance at the NPL Finals, helping lead Team Boca against some of the top teams in the country.

Playing in a highly competitive U17 Girls bracket, Riley allowed just four goals in three matches, including a late goal against eventual champion Colorado Rush in a 1-0 loss.

“I am beyond proud of Riley,” said Team Boca ECNL 2009 girls coach Cory Harbinson. “She has the eye of the tiger in goal, has no fear, plays every game as if it’s her last, and has the absolute respect of her teammates and myself.”

The NPL Finals All-Tournament Team recognizes the top players from the U13-U17 Girls age groups, making this a well-deserved national honor.

“Our confidence level as a team rises when we know Riley is in goal,” Harbinson added. “We’re not in Denver without her making two incredible saves in the Florida finals and also keeping the eventual NPL finals winners, Colorado Rush, scoreless till the final few minutes. She had killer saves and one clean sheet in the first game. She was amazing in goal. I wish her all the best. Thank you for a wonderful three years in goal for us!”

Clap it up for the Team Boca ECNL RL 2012 girls, along with coaches Mario Rincon and Lyubomir Kukov, who closed out play at the ECNL Regional League National Championships at 60 Acres Park in Seattle, Washington, with a victory.

Team Boca finished on a high note at the Nationals competition with a hard-fought, 2-1 victory over FC Delco on Thursday morning in a consolation contest. Team Boca received goals from Laila Abdullah and Karina Rabadan in the match, securing the win.

“I’m incredibly proud of our 2012 RL girls for battling until the final whistle and never giving up,” Rincon said. “That said, I couldn’t be prouder of this group. This ECNL National Playoffs experience taught us some valuable lessons. We’ll take those lessons, learn from them, grow together, and come back stronger. The future is bright for this group, and this is just the beginning. Thank you to our players, families, and supporters for believing in us every step of the way. Onward and upward!”

Kick off the new Team Boca season with a full day of fast, fun 5v5 futsal. Players register individually, and balanced teams are built for every division, and everyone plays quick 15-minute games all day long.

The games will be played at the Pick-A-Ball facility at 3650 SW 10th Street, Deerfield Beach, for boys and girls U8 through U19, at $75 per player.

It is open exclusively to current Team Boca players. Players register individually — there is no team registration. Each registration includes the player’s current Team Boca team (for example, Girls 11U) so we can verify membership against Team Boca rosters. The team assignments are announced before event day.

Congratulations to the Team Boca ECNL RL girls, along with coaches Mario Rincon and Lyubomir Kukov, who reached the quarterfinals of the ECNL Regional League National Championships at 60 Acres Park in Seattle, Washington.

Team Boca dropped a tough, 3-1 decision to the So Cal Blues ECNL 2012G on Wednesday. Team Boca went down 2-0 at halftime and pulled within 2-1 when Laila Abdullah got fouled in the box, and Adriana Watson converted the PK. So Cal scored in stoppage time to ice the game.

“Unfortunately, today wasn’t our day. We made a few mistakes, and the other team capitalized on them,” Rincon said. “That said, I couldn’t be prouder of this group. We accomplished many of the goals we set at the beginning of the season and represented ourselves with heart, resilience, and determination every step of the way.

“Now it’s time to learn, grow, and use this experience as motivation,” he added. “I’m confident we’ll come back stronger, hungrier, and ready to compete again next year. Thank you to our players, families, and everyone who supported us throughout this incredible journey. The future is bright.”

Good luck to coaches Mario Rincon and Lyubomir Kukov, along with the entire Team Boca ECNL RL 2012 girls, as they open play Wednesday morning as they chase the club’s fifth national title at the ECNL Regional League National Championships from July 15-18, 2026, at 60 Acres Park in Seattle, Washington.

Team Boca (19-0-0), which outscored the opposition in the Regional League playoffs, 24-1 in qualifying for the tournament, faces So Cal Blues ECNL 2012G (17-1-1) in the opening match at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday. The championship finals are 8:30 a.m. on July 18.

“I am super proud of this team for earning a place in the ECNL RL National Playoff quarterfinals,” Rincon said. “From the very beginning of the season, this was one of our goals, and through hard work, commitment, and belief, they’ve put themselves among the final eight teams in the country.

“Now the opportunity is in front of us,” he continued. “We’ll see if our journey continues to the semifinals, but regardless of what happens next, I’m incredibly proud of everything this group has accomplished…one game at a time. Let’s keep believing.”

Clap it up for coach Cory Harbinson and the Team Boca Girls 2009 NPL team as they concluded play at the NPL National Finals in Denver, Colorado, on Thursday.

Team Boca, the NPL Florida League U17 Finals champions, dropped a hard-fought 1-0 decision to the Colorado Rush on a late cross and header with less than five minutes remaining in the match at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park.

Goalkeeper Riley Goldberg and defender Kayla Fishbein were outstanding today on the field.

“I am very proud of the team as they battled the best team in the group today and left everything on the field,” said Harbinson, who coached the team for the past four seasons. “We represented Team Boca well here, and I’m going to miss this group a lot.”

Good luck to coach Cory Harbinson and the Team Boca Girls 2009 NPL team as they conclude bracket play at the NPL National Finals in Denver, Colorado, on Thursday.

Team Boca, the NPL Florida League U17 Finals champions, fell 3-0 to the Missouri Rush on Wednesday and enter the final bracket contest against the host Colorado Rush on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. (MDT) at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park, needing a victory and a Misouri Ruh to keep their playoff chance alive.

“If we had played a better first half, I think it would have been a different game,” Harbinson said. “We really shot ourselves in the foot a few times, but we still have a chance, so the girls are going to come out and do their best.”

FAU Women's Soccer is hosting a summer high school preseason positional camp on July 13, 15 and 17 for girls entering grades 9-12 from 9-11 a.m.

Get ready for the Fall season and train with the FAU Women's Soccer coaching staff during this three-day preseason camp, designed specifically for high school players.

Improve your technical ability, tactical awareness and position-specific decision-making while building the fitness and confidence needed to enter your high school season at your best.

Each session features: Position-specific technical training; tactical instruction; speed and agility work; soccer-specific conditioning; competitive small-sided and full-field games.

The cost for the camp is $201 ($184 + $17 registration fee) and it will be held at the Tom Oxley Athletic Center and FAU Soccer Stadium Field.
