IDPA Launches Official Stage Library for Members
IDPA is pleased to announce the launch of its new Official IDPA Stage Library, a valuable resource developed by the Continuing Education Team to support clubs, Match Directors, and members around the world.

The Stage Library features a growing collection of IDPA-approved stages that have been designed, reviewed, and vetted to ensure they align with current IDPA rules, principles, and stage design standards. The resource provides Match Directors with ready-to-use stages while also serving as an educational tool for members interested in learning more about effective and compliant stage design.

The library is intended to make match preparation easier, promote consistency across sanctioned and club-level matches, and provide inspiration for local clubs looking to enhance their events.

“One of our goals is to give clubs and Match Directors practical tools that help them deliver safe, challenging, and enjoyable matches,” said Joyce Wilson, Executive Director of IDPA. “The Stage Library provides a collection of quality stages that members can confidently incorporate into their matches while ensuring they reflect the spirit and standards of IDPA competition.”

In addition to complete stage diagrams and written stage descriptions, the library will continue to expand as new stages are developed and approved. Members can expect periodic additions that reflect a variety of shooting challenges, skill levels, and match formats. A Table of Contents is also included so that members can look for stages by number of rounds, shooting actions (strong hand only, weak hand only, etc.), appropriate for indoor/outdoor use, and other criteria. Stages currently in the repository have been vetted and adhere to the 2026 rules.
The Continuing Education Team encourages Match Directors to regularly visit the Stage Library for new content and ideas that can be incorporated into club and sanctioned matches.
The Official IDPA Stage Library is now available through the members’ section of the IDPA website. Visit www.idpa.com and login; on the Downloads tab of each member’s Dashboard, you will see the pdf file containing the stages.

Matches are held virtually every weekend of the year. Many ranges will also hold matches during the week. Browse matches and find one near you.

Mariana Corrales of Buenos Aires, Argentina is the new Latin America International Point of Contact (IPOC) and is the first female to hold this role. Her home club is IDPA – TDU (C0797), and the club’s shooting range is located outside of Buenos Aires at the Asociación de Tiro y Gimnasia de Quilmes.

The new IPOC’s Area of Responsibility is all of Latin America, including Brazil, Venezuela, Trinidad & Tobago, Peru, Paraguay, Panama, Mexico, Jamaica, Honduras, Guatemala, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Chile, and Argentina.
