PHYT Tip: The Dumbbell Pullover
A lot of questions arise on which muscle group is the main focus for the pullover. Fact is, change your form and you can focus on either the Lats or the Pecs. Keep in mind, either way targets both muscle groups, just one method targets a specific muscle more than the other.
• Lat Focus Dumbbell Pullovers. Keep elbows flared slightly wider than outer shoulder.
• Pec Focus Dumbbell Pullovers. Keep elbows in line directly above shoulders without the flare.
You can alternate between both methods in your set to well-round your workout. Let us know how it works for you in the comments!

Who doesn’t love a great run outdoors? As temperatures drop, running outside becomes more difficult. Be sure to keep eyes open for icy surfaces on your path ahead! This is especially important at areas such as the Boise Greenbelt that is tucked at the river side! Pro tip: If you’re looking to build stamina in your cardio routine, be sure to prolong your specific activity for at least 15-20 minutes. Quick and short cardio activity is a great warmup, but if your looking to push your limits and raise the bar, push yourself longer! You WILL see progress! Pride Post:

Anything that is truly worth it, whether it be reaching your fitness goals, achieving a dream, or discovering yourself, will take time. Results aren't noticed overnight. They won't appear after a week, nor a month. Seasons will change and years will pass to provide a seed for these goals to blossom into what you envisioned. Small steps lead to miles of discovery. Set goals EVERY DAY. Over time, these goals will compound and the progress you desire will reveal itself. Step forward, with pride, and don't stress the progress.

Rise up. Accomplish. Succeed. The Pull-Up. The ultimate predecessor for a toned and symmetrical back and upper body. Rise above that bar, reach the roof. If you can't, don't be shy. Hop on the Assisted Pull-Up Machine and set the weight setting at 1/2 your body weight and progress from there. Do this with your warm-ups 3 times a week and you will be above the bar in no time. Don't let another day pass you by without doing something that will move you a little closer to what it is you truly want and truly believe in.
Take the time to do that extra 20 minutes of cardio. Find the strength to finish that last set. When you don't feel like exercising, use that little voice in your head telling you not to go, as motivation to jog to the gym and hit the gym harder than you've ever hit it before.
Do not let yourself down. Your only real responsibility in this life is to fulfill your life purpose and create the most beautiful and meaningful life you can. You can only do that by being true to yourself and not letting yourself down.
