First off I want to say hats off to Priority Pet Urgent Care in Leland. Awesome team, sorry I didn't catch every ones name there but Dr Fox and Rachel were keeping us informed on what was going on. If you have a need after normal vet hours definitely go here!

SECONDLY, anyone using Four Paws Veterinary or are thinking about it call me, message me or come by and I will tell you where you and your dogs rank in the case of an emergency. I have used them for years, have taken many dogs regularly, and even referred my customers and friends to them, unfortunately Dr Rickman is no longer there and the business has gone corporate. I was turned away during an emergency because they were " just too busy today". Yes those are exact words told to me twice while I was in route 5 mins away . Veterinary Hospital my ass, Dr Rickman you are missed!

Last night we had to make that decision that no dog owner wants to make. We had to put our youngest Lab down. Some of you may have hunted with him in the fields here. It was a hard choice but the right one. The bonds, memories, and "deals" that we make with our hunting partners carry on past when one or the other is gone from the hunting grounds. Rainy Days Ho**ey Tonk "Blue" was always on the hunt around here, coming on strong in the fields pointing quail and chukar, at same time a buddy to me, Amy and the grand boys. I could say a lot more but I will spare y'all. He will surely be missed.
