First 12U tournament is in the books!

These young, but mighty Pirates showed up and showed out this weekend. We knew tackling a 2 day, 6GG was going to be tough, with some 12U experienced teams, but it didnt scare these girls. They went 3-1 in pool play, with the loss only being by 1 run. They had multiple games where they battled from behind to get the win, and done all they could do to get as far as they could before their gas ran out.

They finished 4th out of 10 teams and thats something we are proud of to start their 12U season out. The top 3 teams were great teams and 2 of our losses came from the top 2 teams!

This weekend, we gear up and officially start our season as a very young 12U team. These girls are little, but feisty and ready to show they belong!

Our 10U Pirates have moved up as the new Panhandle Pirates 12U team for the Fall and are ready to work and prove they can handle the adjustments. They might be young, but they are ready to take on the battle.

Some stories don't end with a championship trophy... they end with a family that will never be the same because of the journey they shared.

Our 10U season officially comes to a close after an unforgettable run at the USFA World Series. While we came up just short of our ultimate goal, these girls have absolutely nothing to hang their heads about.

Spring Season - 30 wins. 11 losses. Countless memories. One family.

World Series in review:

🏆 USFA World Series Record: 5-2

🔥 Opened with five straight wins

💪 Outscored opponents 51-9 through those five victories

❤️ Fought until the very end, finishing just short of our ultimate goal.

As I sit here trying to find the words, I'm realizing that this one is harder than most.

Our 10U journey has officially come to an end.

This week at the USFA World Series, these girls reminded everyone what Panhandle Pirates softball is all about. They battled to a 5-2 record, won five straight games, and never stopped believing in each other. But this season wasn't defined by those seven games—it was defined by every practice, every road trip, every laugh in the dugout, every tear after a tough loss, and every celebration after a hard-earned win.

These girls became more than teammates. They became sisters.

To our players... thank you for trusting us as your coaches, for playing with heart, and for wearing "Pirates" across your chest with pride. Watching each of you grow—not only as softball players, but as young ladies—has been the greatest blessing.

To our parents, thank you for every mile traveled, every late night, every early morning, every hotel stay, and every sacrifice you made so these girls could chase their dreams. This team wouldn't exist without you.
It's bittersweet knowing this chapter is over. No one can ever take away the memories we made, the friendships we built, or the family we became.

Once a Pirate, always a Pirate.

Now... it's time for a new adventure.
