Accept a Non- linear Path.
Look, I’m passionate about results. I’m all about setting goals and reaching them.
Yet, through my career I’ve shared paths with successful individuals, and highly effective people all have in common: they never let great be the enemy of the good.
Sometimes, it may seem like you’re going backwards when it’s really just a necessary detour to reach the results you’re aiming for.
Health and fitness is never a linear thing and the people who understand that their bodies are always going to evolve , are the only ones the tools to sustain long-term wellness.
If you feel like you’re at your physical best right now, I’m so happy for you and your practice
I’d also tell you, that this investigator mindset is just as important for you as it is to someone just beginning their wellness journey.

The answer is, YES!!!
Am I scared? Yes. Aren’t I worried about my health? Yes. Aren’t I fearful of what’s happening? Yes. Don’t I think about my child and those around me? Yes.
The answer is so much yes.
But someone used to always remind me “ don’t stress what hasn’t happened yet”. And truer words have not been spoken. Stressing before it happens, puts you there twice .
This virus, the selfish people who don’t listen to the recommendations or even the rules, the lack of resources in the world, the shortage of supplies, the lack of extra financial help for those who need it in though times. NONE of these things are in my control. Not one . So what does stressing it do for me ?🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️. The truth is this. I’m not perfect. However, I’m very well aware that some of Gods greatest gifts are unanswered prayers and changes in plans. So when I think about my child, I remeber he’s watching my every move .
When I fear financial shortage, I remember the child we sponsored who has less than we have, so I continue to give even when I think I can’t .
When I think about the shortage of resources and supplies, I remember to take it one day at the time. I have chosen to remain educated but not afraid, I control the controllable and have faith in the things unseen. That keeps me going.
It doesn’t remove the fear, it puts me at peace.
And peace is what we ALL need right about now.
So, feel it , be it and most importantly, give to a friend in need!!!!
