Who is Bradshaw Wish?

An experienced yoga teacher based in Chicago with over ten years of teaching experience. He leads public classes, teacher trainings, and international retreats, blending classical vinyasa with a mindful, modern update. Bradshaw studied under master teacher Jason Crandell for his 500-hour certification, and his classes are both educational and anatomical, all while maintaining a lighthearted, fun vibe.

With a wealth of knowledge and a touch of sass, Bradshaw’s classes are sure to engage and inspire. He also hosts the yoga podcast The Funny Thing About Yoga, where he mixes humor with insightful conversations on yoga. You can follow him on social media for a dose of great yoga humor.

Join Rebecca for a 75-minute moving meditation, we'll move through the original Hatha (26 + 2) sequence in its entirety, including 2 full sets of almost every posture. While most Hatha classes are taught by teacher dialogue, this one will be led without spoken instruction. Words cannot describe the healing and empowerment yoga has, and continues to provide me. Growing up an all-star cheerleader, the mentality of ignoring your body, pushing past your limits, and comparing yourself to others was ingrained in me for quite some time. When I was first introduced to yoga in 2018, I had a difficult time connecting to it. The practice and environment were starkly different from what I was used to in cheer. In 2023, I started practicing more consistently and began learning small pieces of yoga philosophy that challenged the beliefs I was taught about my body, movement, and breath. This is when my body and mind began to crave yoga; my mat became my oasis; the practice was a form of medicine for my mind, body, and soul, helping undo years of unhealthy conditioning. Through growing my personal practice, I began to see other aspects of my life shift in positive ways, and I am eternally grateful for how deeply this practice has touched my life.

With the vision of sharing the gift that is the practice, I became certified to teach yoga in March 2026. In my classes, expect an emphasis on anatomy, alignment, and intention. I give several opportunities for inversions and arm balances, as well as modifications and alternative options to meet each individual where they’re at that day. I firmly believe your time on your mat is sacred and personal, and I strive to create an environment where nothing else matters but you and your breath. Rooted in values of inclusivity, accessibility, and compassion, I truly believe that yoga is for EVERYBODY, and I welcome you to come as you are :)

Outside of yoga, you’ll find me studying to finish my degree in biomedical sciences. If I am blessed with more time, you’ll also catch me in the gym, hiking, hanging out with my sisters, self-studying my array of interests, and drawing/writing.

Whether it’s through guiding you in your practice, or practicing alongside you, I hope to meet you soon! 🧘‍♀️✨
