Girls Boone Wrestling Club

We are going to postpone our first open mat to Sunday the 21st! Hope to see everyone there!!!

I hope everyone had a great break! We are going to be back in the room for off season folkstyle practices Sundays 3-5pm! I’ll post on here any changes!!

We had 6 ladies compete down at twin rivers national duals on multiple different teams!! Mat time matters and our ladies continue to chase it! They are trusting the process, meeting new friends and finding success while doing it! Great job ladies!

Meira - Lioness Legion (youth progressive division)
Lily and Aliya - Moen wrestling academy ( youth all star division)

Big congrats to Meira for earning copper all American status and her team won the copper progressive division!

Also congrats to Aliya for copper all American status! The team her and Lily were on got second place in the all star silver division!

We are really pumped these ladies had a blast and got some more wrestling in! 

No practice tonight! We will see everyone Thursday!

We had awards tonight! (Parents feel free to add photos if you took any!!!) Great turn out, great food, and awesome people! It’s cool to see where this started to what it’s grown into.

We are proud of all of our ladies! It was an awesome season and as it happens in wrestling, there is high highs and lowest lows. But these ladies keep showing up, keep working, and keep having fun!

Thank you to Boone Wrestling Club and Coty Mallicoat for getting our awards! Thank you to all the parents for their unwavering support, and the biggest thank you to the girls for believing, trusting the process, and always bringing the positive energy!

We aren’t done yet! Black hills nationals next weekend and twin rivers national duals still to come!!

We had an awesome showing from our ladies at cedar valley nationals. Off season wrestling is where the most growth happens! It’s cool to see the buy in we’ve gotten from these ladies. These ladies had a blast! Back to practice Tuesday to prepare for black hills nationals and twin rivers!

Joe bro got 🥉 in 18u open at 215! Hes still a stud.
Isaac Dominick, 4-2, battled tough dropping his first match and battling all the way back to the blood round in a 32 man bracket falling just short of the podium.

Grady Dominick - 0-2 🍖 but lost a close decision on the back side!

Regardless of the wins or losses today, I saw our ladies be aggressive, attacking first, staying in good position, not panicking, and most importantly having fun! Little wins stack up into big wins ladies!

Thanks Joe Bro, Isaac and Riley for letting me help in your corners! That was a fun day!
