It has come to our attention that one of the Hema Tournaments that Wadle Sword and Steel helps to sponsor has been approached by an individual who has an issue with the presence of an Undrepresented Genders event at said tournament.

This individual has reached out to sponsors of this event asking them to boycott the tournament.

I would like to respond with the following statement:

Wadle Sword and Steel is in full support of any tournament that is accepting of all individuals regardless of gender, ethnicity, or belief. We believe in a person’s right to express themselves. So no. We will NOT be boycotting or withdrawing our support from any tournament with an Underrepresented Genders event.

I’ve had a lot of interest in my custom Sparring Mugs recently, so here’s some more information on them!

The mugs are designed with a thick wall to stand up to sparring and the handle design is specifically sized to fit a Spes Heavy Clamshell glove or similarly sized heavy glove.

Pricing starts at $90 for a single mug, and $160 for a pair.
Customization is available upon request.

Please note: These Mugs are heavily built to catch and stop blades of the likes of arming swords or messers. The Mugs are for defense only and are *NOT* designed to strike with or to bludgeon a sparring partner.

*These mugs are produced in a workshop that does not produce food grade products. Use of these mugs for drinking is not recommended.
