What a ride. 💛🖤🥎

Last night, our Bordentown Little League 10s Softball All-Stars saw their incredible tournament run come to an end with a heartbreaking loss to Hanover in the New Jersey State Championship game.

After falling behind 6-2, these girls showed the heart, grit and determination that defined their entire season. They battled all the way back to tie the game 6-6 and force extra innings before coming up just short.

While the final score wasn't what we hoped for, this team has so much to be proud of. District Champions. Section Champions. State Finalists. Out of every Little League 10s softball team in New Jersey, finishing 2nd in the entire state is an extraordinary accomplishment!

Congratulations to our amazing players, dedicated coaches and supportive families. Thank you for representing Bordentown with sportsmanship and relentless effort every single game.

A special thank you to our coaching staff. Thank you for the countless hours you volunteered, the practices you planned, the lessons you taught and the confidence you instilled in our players. The impact you've made will be remembered long after this tournament.

To the families—thank you. Thank you for the endless miles on the road, the meals eaten between games, the never-ending piles of laundry, the schedule juggling, the conversations with your bosses about "just one more game," and every sacrifice you made along the way. Tournament season isn't easy, but the memories you helped create will last a lifetime. They're only young once and what an unforgettable summer you gave them.

And to our Bordentown community—thank you for cheering from near and far, following every update and showing these girls what it means to have an entire town behind them. You truly are the best fans and supporters.

Girls, hold your heads high. You inspired our community, made lifelong memories and showed everyone what it means to wear "Bordentown" across your chest. We couldn't be more proud of every single one of you.

🥎 TALK ABOUT A COMEBACK! 🥎

Our 10s District Softball team is heading to the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME tonight!

Down 2-0 in the 6th inning, these girls showed unbelievable heart—rallying for 2 runs to tie it up and push the game into extra innings. Then, in an absolute explosion of offense, they dropped 8 runs in the 7th for the win!

Huge congratulations to our amazing players, coaches and families on a well-played, exciting game! Pretty sure the fans in the stands aged five years and lost a few fingernails during that one, but every heart-stopping second was worth it!

Now, it’s time for the rematch.
