Meet our Acrobatics Coach, Christian Garrett!

Christian brings more than 35 years of experience in performing arts, coaching, choreography, and wellness. From collegiate cheer and competitive tumbling to performing with Walt Disney World, Christian has worked across stages, studios, and programs throughout the country and beyond.

His passion for helping performers grow has led him to choreograph competitive cheer, coach talent and interview skills, and contribute to productions throughout the Shreveport-Bossier community.

We’re excited to have Christian’s experience, energy, and expertise helping our performers build confidence, strength, and skill!

At Tiger on the Red, we believe Kung Fu is about more than learning techniques—it’s about the people you meet along the way. 🐯🥋

Students of all ages and backgrounds come together with a common goal: to learn, grow, and challenge themselves through Kung Fu. Along the way, something special happens. Friendships are formed, bonds grow stronger, and students learn to encourage, support, and celebrate one another.

Different ages. Different experiences. Different starting points. But one community, learning together and growing stronger together.

Because the friendships forged on the training floor can become some of the most meaningful connections we make. ❤️

Coming in with a positive attitude and a mindset focused on learning helps our Tigers push through the forms that require the most mental and physical tenacity. 🐯🥋

Some forms challenge the body. Others challenge the mind. The toughest challenge is often learning to stay focused, keep going, and trust the process when things get difficult.

Every correction, every repetition, and every challenge is another opportunity to grow stronger—mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Keep pushing, Tigers. The work you put in today is building the strength you’ll carry with you tomorrow. 🐯💪

🥋 Meet Jeremy! 🥋

We want to take a moment to celebrate one of our amazing students and highlight something we’re incredibly proud of at Tiger on the Red — creating a place where everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, participate, and compete.

Jeremy recently competed in the adaptive/special needs category at The Governor’s Game, proving that martial arts truly can be for everyone. ❤️

Sometimes when people think about adaptive athletes, they think only of programs like the Special Olympics. But opportunities for students with different abilities can—and should—exist in everyday programs and activities, too.

At Tiger on the Red, we believe every student deserves the chance to be part of a team, challenge themselves, build confidence, and experience the pride that comes with accomplishing something they may not have thought possible.

Jeremy showed us exactly what that looks like. We are so proud of him and honored to have him as part of our Tiger on the Red family! 🐯❤️
