We offer performances for all classes and have performing teams for ages 4 and Up. At Dance Loud we focus on the purity of dance and keeping God in all aspects of the arts and working with the community to help those in need.

❤️🖤 MEET MISS CANDICE 🖤❤️

If you’ve been around DLA, chances are you already know Miss Candice🤍
Born and raised in SOBO, Miss Candice attended Parkway High School and has been married to her husband Ryan for 17 years. Together they have six children… three girls and three boys! She’s spent the last 9+ years as a dance mom to her three daughters, so the dance world has become a HUGE part of her life. When she’s not at DLA, she also helps manage her husband’s construction business, so keeping up with busy schedules and a million moving pieces is pretty much second nature at this point!😅

Miss Candice joined Dance Loud Academy in late 2023 as a receptionist, and her role has continued to grow ever since. Today, she helps keep the day-to-day operations of the studio running, communicates with our DLA parents and instructors, coordinates behind-the-scenes details, and helps make sure everyone has the information they need.

One of the things she loves most about DLA is getting to watch our dancers grow. From seeing little dancers walk through the doors for the first time to celebrating their accomplishments and watching their confidence grow, being a small part of their journey means so much to her.❤️

For Miss Candice DLA has truly become a second family. She loves working alongside a team that cares deeply about our dancers, and the relationships she’s built with our DLA parents and families are some of the things she treasures most about being part of the studio.

Miss Candice may not be the one teaching the pirouettes, but she’s usually somewhere behind the scenes helping make sure everything else keeps spinning!❤️🖤

❤️🖤 MEET MISS BRINLEA 🖤❤️

Dance has been a meaningful part of Miss Brinlea’s life for over 14 years, and it has shaped so much of who she is today. From being a dancer herself to teaching and now working behind the scenes, she has had the opportunity to experience dance from many different perspectives. Miss Brinlea has been part of the Dance Loud Academy family since 2022, where she originally joined the team as a dance teacher and now proudly serves as our Office Manager.

Her time as a teacher allowed her to build meaningful relationships with our dancers and families while sharing her passion for dance and helping our dancers become more confident, disciplined, and passionate about what they do. Transitioning into the Office Manager role has given Miss Brinlea the opportunity to continue being involved in the studio while supporting our dancers, families, teachers, and the day-to-day operations of Dance Loud Academy.

Being part of the Dance Loud team is something Miss Brinlea truly cherishes. There is something incredibly special to her about watching our dancers grow—not only as dancers, but as individuals. She loves seeing their confidence develop, celebrating their accomplishments, encouraging them through challenges, and being there for all of the little moments in between.

Our dance girls hold such a special place in Miss Brinlea’s heart, and she feels incredibly blessed to continue watching them grow throughout their dance journeys. She is so thankful to be surrounded by a team that feels like family and to be part of a studio where she can continue doing something she has loved for so many years.

Dance will always be a huge part of Miss Brinlea’s life, and we are grateful that Dance Loud Academy is a place where she can continue sharing that love every day. ❤️🖤

🖤❤️MEET MISS LACY!❤️🖤

Lacy is the proud owner and director of Dance Loud Academy. She began teaching dance at 18 years old and has now spent 17 years sharing her love of dance with students. She has owned Dance Loud Academy since 2018 and began building its Diamond Elite competition program in 2019.

Lacy is certified through Acrobatic Arts and is also a certified NDA judge. While she is proud of her dancers’ accomplishments onstage, she believes dance is about so much more than choreography, trophies, and technique. Her greatest passion is creating a positive, faith-filled studio where every dancer feels loved, encouraged, and confident enough to shine—both on and off the stage.

She loves watching young dancers discover their confidence, develop a strong work ethic, build lasting friendships, and grow into the people they are meant to be.

Outside the studio, Lacy is also a hairstylist and, most importantly, a proud mom to Lawson and Emma. She is incredibly grateful for every family who has trusted Dance Loud Academy to be part of their child’s story.

❤️🖤 MEET MISS PAIGE 🖤❤️

Miss Paige has been dancing since she was 2 years old, 27 years now! She began dancing competitively around the age of 8 and continued through high school. At just 10 years old, she began assisting classes, which led to her teaching at the age of 14. It was through teaching that she found her true passion in the dance world.

Miss Paige attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she majored in Dance with a concentration in Ballet and Modern. During her third year, she moved back home to Shreveport.

Throughout her dance career, Miss Paige professionally performed in many well-known ballets, including Swan Lake, Paquita, Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, Giselle, and Sleeping Beauty, along with countless modern pieces. She also professionally danced as Ladybug for the Shreveport Mudbugs Hockey Team.

After retiring from the stage, Miss Paige turned her focus toward her love of choreography and teaching. She has helped lead several dancers to become LSU Tiger Girls, as well as members of many other collegiate dance teams throughout the state. She has also choreographed for several local theatre groups, working on productions including Annie, Nunsense, Singing in the Rain, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Miss Paige has been a part of the DLA family for 9 years. During her time with us, she has choreographed numerous pieces for our competition dancers and has earned her an impressive 8 Choreography Awards!

When she isn’t at the studio, you can find Miss Paige at George’s Pond at Hirsch Coliseum, where she currently serves as the Assistant GM for the Shreveport Mudbugs. She handles all things media relations and game operations—and a fun fact: if you catch a game, you may even see her driving the Zamboni!

Miss Paige is also a mom to a 10-year-old son, and even with her incredibly full schedule, she loves that she gets to continue pursuing her passion and is excited for another fun season of teaching at Dance Loud Academy! ❤️🖤

❤️🖤MEET MISS ALLIE🖤❤️

Miss Allie is a dedicated dancer, and devoted competition teammate who is excited to begin her journey as a dance instructor. With 11 years of dance experience, Allie has been a member of the Dance Loud Academy competitive team since the age of 6, where she has grown not only as a dancer, but also as a leader and role model.

Throughout her competitive dance career, Allie has earned numerous team and solo awards at regional and national competitions. She has received several invitations to compete at the World Dance Championship and had the opportunity to compete in the 2022 Star Dance Alliance competition. Among her many accomplishments, Allie has received Judges’ Choice for one of her solos and was named Miss Photogenic, along with many other honors throughout her years of dance.

Allie has trained extensively in lyrical, contemporary, ballet, pointe, acrobatic arts, hip hop, and jazz. Her diverse training has opened the door to unique opportunities, including performing with the Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet, where she was a company member for two years.

Allie continues to train five days a week at Dance Loud Academy, always striving to grow and improve as an artist. When she isn’t at the studio, she enjoys crafting, reading, and helping care for her three younger brothers.

As a new teacher, Miss Allie is incredibly excited to share her love of dance and her love of God with her students. She hopes to encourage each dancer to work hard, have confidence, find joy in movement, and use the gifts God has given them. She is so excited to begin this new chapter and make a positive impact on the next generation of dancers!

❤️🖤 MEET MISS AVERY 🖤❤️

We are SO excited to have Miss Avery stepping into a new role at Dance Loud Academy this season! She’s ready to share her knowledge, passion, and love of dance with our next generation of DLA dancers.✨

Miss Avery is a student at Parkway High School and has trained in dance for over 9 years, including 6 years as an award-winning competitive dancer. Her dance journey has taken her to regional, national, and even WORLD stages, earning impressive scores, awards, scholarships, and special opportunities along the way.

Some of her accomplishments include being named a Synergy Star Performer, receiving multiple Judges’ Choice Awards, NEXSTAR Top Soloist Awards, and being selected as a Star Dance Alliance Power Pak Member. In 2025, she was also selected for the Turn It Up National Dance Team, performing in Orlando, Florida!

Avery has trained in Acrobatic Arts, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Pointe, and Pom, while continuing her education through dance conventions, camps, and opportunities such as the LSU Tiger Girls Clinic.

She currently represents Parkway High School as a member of the Black Cat R***e and plans to continue dancing at the collegiate level after high school.

Dance is a huge part of Avery’s life. She spends five days a week in the studio training, assisting with classes, and working with younger dancers. This season, she’s excited to help our dancers grow in their technique and confidence, encourage them along the way, and share the love of dance that has meant so much to her.

We are so excited to have Miss Avery on our teaching team this season! ❤️🖤

🖤❤️Meet Miss Elizabeth!❤️🖤

Miss Elizabeth is a dedicated dancer and athlete with an evergoing passion and love for dance! She has spent her whole life in the dance world, where she competed with Dance Loud Academy and proudly won multiple overall awards with the team, as well as individually receiving the miss nexstar teen title!

She has been dancing for 13 years and has competed since the age of 7, all with DLA. She is trained in the styles of lyrical, contemporary, ballet, tap, pointe, acrobatic arts, hiphop, musical theatre, pom, and jazz.

With this training, she has received the opportunity to be apart of the CE Byrd Highsteppers. She serves as their lieutenant captain for the 26-27 season. She also has been apart of the shreveport metropolitan ballet from the years of 2022-2025! She has been to multiple LSU Tiger Girls recruitment clinics, and hopes to in the near future participate in the program!

When Miss Elizabeth isn’t at the dance studio, she is a junior at CE Byrd High School, where she is a member of many clubs. She enjoys baking and dancing whenever she gets the chance! She loves being and working with kids in the studio as well as out and is excited to continue sharing her passion for dancing with her students!

❤️🖤Meet our Acro instructor Miss Courtney!

Miss Courtney is an experienced tumbling and acro teacher with a lifelong passion for cheerleading, gymnastics, and dance! Much of her life was spent in the cheerleading world, where she competed competitively with Louisiana Rebel Allstars and proudly won an NCA title with the team.

After completing her all-star cheer career, Miss Courtney began sharing her passion with others by coaching tumbling at Gymstone Allstars. She later discovered her love for the acro side of dance after joining DLA, where she found a new way to combine her experience and passion for helping dancers grow.

After taking a short break from DLA for a few seasons, Miss Courtney is so excited and happy to be back in the studio! She loves helping students build strength, confidence, flexibility, and new skills while encouraging them to always do their best.

When Miss Courtney isn’t at the dance studio, she is a 5th grade teacher at Louisiana Key Academy, where she also serves as the cheer sponsor for the middle school cheer team. She loves working with kids both inside and outside of the classroom and is excited to continue sharing her passion for tumbling and acro with her students!
