Congratulations to Shaelah Rice, who is leaving this week for college. She is attending NC State, majoring in Animal Science: Veterinary Bioscience Concentration.

Shaelah has been an amazing addition to the Fern Hollow Farm Family and we can’t wait for her to come back and visit soon!

Thank you to all of our Advanced Camp participants, parents, & wonderful lesson horses. It was such a fun week, and we had a great crew! Shout out to Caroline Hall & Emma Herdan for helping things run so smoothly.

To finish camp off, campers participated in Carolina Schooling Series Horse Show at Harmon Field, and while it was hot and muggy, we had a blast! 💥

As a reminder, we still have spot available for Beginner Camp July 13-15, give us a call if you’re interested!!

Derby mania 2026 was a scorcher!

We had some very big wins, but best of all, we had a great crew of riders, parents, and friends.

Do you know a kid who wants to learn how to ride?

Check out our beginner camp- July 13 thru 15th 8:30 AM to Noon!

It’s the perfect opportunity for kids who are just starting off to learn grooming, ground work skills, basic horse care, and basic riding skills. No previous experience is required.

A big thank you to the Herndon and Owens families for braving the snow covered roads to come help catch up on the barn work. Having so many horses to care for can be overwhelming in bad weather. I am so grateful for the support of my clients/barn family!
