Two weeks out from surgery. Cast off. Stitches removed. New bandage for a few more days, then can wash foot. Boot and crutches for 3 more weeks. More rowing and ski erg for this guy. But, good progress. Lots of screws in there!

Got my MTP joint (the big one behind the big toe) fused. Bone spurs hurt all the time and it didn't function much anyway. Two weeks in the cast and then if all goes well a boot. Big thank you to my sweet sister who drove me to St. Vincents hospital in Worcester and hung around there ALL day. I know so many people who have had much more serious and longer term medical issues so I will not complain. I will watch the ParaOlympics and be inspired!
