🎶 Rest is productive too.🎶
Week 1 for me was about feeling guilty for not having a booked and busy summer but also glad that I can actually be outside, take others classes and enjoy the restful time. I felt guilty for resting and thinking that I would become lazy, lose endurance and stamina that I need to teach. I questioned why I felt the need to stay doing something, instead of appreciating the time to actually enjoy the summer and use this rest time to replenish my spirit for who knows what to come. I also felt like every week there was more and more clarity on this restful summer that I'm having. I questioned "feeling" not feeling 100% in my body some days, I can't really explain it and not like sadness because I am learning that rest and is not the same as depression I KNOW that feeling and don't ever want to be back there. But like, what's happening here? I actually still don't really know 😂 but for now, Imma just chill and do my popups here and there while I also rest.
Thank you Ebony and the Peace Institute for offering. ✨✨✨
