How to eat for your goals without counting calories.

Donât worry, youâre not broken!
We find the balanced plate method to be the easiest and quickest way to create delicious, nutrient dense meals.
Generally we like to aim for:
đ„Š 1/2 plate of non-starchy veggies (fiber!!!)
đ„© 1/4 plate of lean protein
đ 1/4 plate of grains or starchy veggie
đ„ healthy fats and cooking oils in moderation
đŠ wash it down with water
Of course, this is a general template and a great place to start.
We teach balance plate building to all our clients.

Looking to start working with kettlebells but donât know where to startâ
Letâs start with this most frequently asked question: what size bells should I buy?
The answer to that question can vary based in your goals, training experience and budget.
We love for our clients to have at least 2-3 kettlebells so we can apply progressive overload over time for better results.
If youâre looking to buy some bells, we reccomend . All of our KB babies are from KBK and we love them.

âšDitch routines for ritualsâš
Whatâs the difference?
The difference is in the way you think of the two.
Routines are mundane and feel like another thing to check off your to-do list.
Rituals are special to you, sacred in a sense.
Recently weâve felt like we are trying to gather our thoughts and get ready for the day as we rush to workout, make breakfast, and get out the door, which leads to us feeling a little all over the place!
The best way to build a new habit or ritual is one step at a time.
The goal is to get up earlier to enjoy some light movement, coffee, and journal. Today we got up 30 minutes earlier than we usually do and went for a walk around the park. Weâll continue to build on this practice every week until weâve reached a wake up time that works for us.
