This journey hasn’t been easy, but it certainly is rewarding, because being able to work with people fuels me. Those who know me well enough, know how passionate I am when it comes to helping others, building relationships, listening and caring about their wellbeing. Somehow through the past 13 years of actively being involved in the health and fitness world, coaching, learning, exploring, teaching, experimenting, creating and of course actively training myself to always hold the standard high for those who seek my help. Everything I’ve gone through and done led me to open the MR Strength & Conditioning Gym training studio in the middle of a world pandemic (Wow! 2020 is starting to feel like it was a long time ago!!) Prior to taking this leap of faith, the endless athletic camps, teams, small groups, and countless 1:1 training sessions; at the small local gym, sport academies, middle schools and high schools to the corporate level of fitness, it all helped me build the systems I now use to help whoever comes through the door or reaches out. Improving your overall health and fitness by simply focusing on the basic principle of nourishing the body and mind. May I ask, what do athletes do best? — If you didn’t think about it before, well it’s simple but not easy. They take care of their body and mind, they nourish it all. They’re not always looking for the magic pill that will help them win games. They’re actively working every single day and night on making sure they’re getting enough rest, that they’re eating enough food, that they’re hydrated enough. Because it’s the only tool they have to get their job done.
Why would you not want to do the same so you too can feel your best to perform your job/role in today’s world the best you can and keep winning in this game we all call life?!

“Imagine living your life without being
afraid to take a risk and to explore life.

Imagine that you love yourself
just the way you are.” —

SLEEP is one of the most common subjects I talk about with clients.

Did you know 10 to 30% of the population suffers from a clinical sleep disorder and insufficient sleep is reported to affect as much as 75% of the developed world???!!

Lack of sleep negatively influences every aspect of your life, to highlight some:

• It lowers your ability to manage stress and causes the build-up of inflammation in the body.
• It raises blood pressure and increases your risk of heart disease and diabetes.
• It alters hormone balance, negatively affecting blood sugar control, libido, and fertility.
• It compromises immunity and increases your risk of illness.
• It impairs memory, concentration, reasoning, and mood.
• It makes you more likely to be distracted by negative emotions and compromises problem solving.

Shut it all down and go to sleep early. As simple as this might sound, for many people, simply adopting good sleep hygiene will solve many issues related to getting a good night’s rest. For others, well we’ll have to take a look at your case so we can incorporate appropriate strategies that can help improve circadian function and you can get the beauty sleep you deserve.
