Helping women to lean into career change with confidence and land the jobs they desire!

02/05/2024

Let's cut through all of the noise ✂ (ain't nobody got time for that!)...

Navigating the corporate world as a woman can often feel like a maze.

𝘋𝘰 𝘐 𝘨𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘦? 𝘋𝘰 𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘺 / 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵? 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴?

It's...a lot. But what if I told you that getting these three things right would lead you down a more direct path to achieving your goals?

Here are the 3 C's. It's what changed the game for me...

🎯 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲: Whether it's knowing what you want or the value that you bring, gaining clarity in your career sets the foundation for all of your decision-making.

🎯 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞: Each time you achieve clarity about any aspect of your career, it then requires courage to take action on it. To elevate it, correct it, or change it.

🎯 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: At the end of the day, it's all about having confidence in yourself. You (and others) will second guess your decisions and actions, but confidence will push you through. And it will have you showing up in a way that commands the respect that you deserve.

These are the areas that I LOVE helping my clients to get reeeally good at. Seeing the transformation never gets old 😍

If this is what you're yearning for, then schedule a call and let's discuss how we can solidify the 3 C's for you so that you can finally get un-stuck in that maze.

⏸ Press pause on the daily grind to uncover what it is that you truly want out of your career.

We don't do this often enough! In our professional nor our personal lives.

The truth is, moving too fast and never taking a moment to reflect can stunt our growth and career trajectory. It can also lead to avoidable mistakes. Here's a gentle nudge to remind you that sometimes, slowing down can make all the difference.

Years ago, my eagerness to grind and please others nearly led me down a career path that was dictated by others...NOT me.

It seemed okay at first to just follow a natural path that seemed to be happening organically for me, but slowing down saved me from potential years of regret for landing in a place that I didn't want to be.

🐢 Key areas to consider slowing down in:

- Decision-making: Instant choices might feel empowering, but they can lack depth.
- Skill Acquisition: Mastery isn't a race. Quality over quantity always.
- Networking: Genuine connections take time. Don't rush the process.

While ambition is commendable, it's equally essential to know when to hit the brakes and reevaluate. Remember, it's not just about reaching the destination, but also savoring the journey.

Today, let's revisit the building blocks of your career. It might seem elementary, but understanding the basics can profoundly change the game.

Let's talk about "Self-Advocacy".

At its core, "Self-Advocacy" is the act of speaking up for oneself and one's interests.

It's a term tossed around so often that its essence sometimes gets diluted.

Common misconception? 🤔

People often think that self-advocacy means standing up for yourself in times of conflict or mistreatment. In reality, it's about being able to identify your needs, communicate them clearly, and help others understand how they can support you.

So, before getting caught up thinking that self-advocacy is only about "fighting back", remember that it can be a means of proactively using your voice to get YOUR needs met.

Getting back to basics like this allows for clearer strategies, smarter decisions, and ultimately, better results.

📚 Homework: Reevaluate your approach to Self-Advocacy. Are you truly leveraging its potential or just skimming the surface?

If you're determined to learn ways to effectively advocate for yourself in the workplace, comment "ADVOCATE." I'll DM you a link to my private podcast which goes into this and so much more!

It's messages like this that truly warm my heart and remind me that this is what I was meant to do.

There are so many women that need guidance and support in their careers.

My biggest regret is not seeking support when I needed it in my career! 🤦🏽‍♀️

After so many years of trial & error, second and triple guessing myself, I've found my voice. am clear on what I want, and am unafraid to advocate for myself and others.

I'm so honored to now be that support system for others.

If you're feeling or in need of guidance/support, then schedule a call with me (it's free!).

I look forward to meeting you ❤️
