As we observe Memorial Day, we will honor people who died while serving in the country’s Armed Forces. This Memorial Day Weekend, see tens of thousands of flags on Boston Common during the 2026 Memorial Day Flag Garden in honor of fallen Massachusetts service members. Over 37,000 flags will be placed on Boston Common — one for every Massachusetts service member who has lost his or her life in the line of service since the Revolutionary War. The sea of American flags stretches below the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, a Civil War tribute.

🐾 New Leopard in the Den 🐾

The final first year to the Leopards’ fall 2026 roster is shipping up to Boston from Georgia to explore architectural studies. Matilde Kofoed’s valuable settings skills will aid the Den in the next wave of game changers.

The Leopards’ third addition, Texan Alyssa Bachli will be a valuable setting asset to the Den. As no stranger to Wentworth Volleyball, Bachli will be exploring architectural studies and looking to re-establish the Bachli connection with her sister, sophomore Megan.

Colorado native, Sarah Vaness, is the next Leopard to join the Den this fall. This Prep Dig Watchlist L/DS will be majoring in Civil Engineering during her time in Boston.
