It's been a busy few Months, and I've been quietly working in the background on Meets and events.

I wanted to put this out there, as I know everyone wants a bigger Bench.
Mass Iron Barbell Club, hosts and helps at a number of RPS Meets.
The Southern Mass Blast, actually inspired the creation of Mass Iron.

Mass Iron is hosting Jimmy Kolb, the Best Bencher in the world. His Record, is 1,320lbs, in competition. He's coming to Mass Iron, in less than 2 weeks. There are a fee spots still open.

OPENERS:
I ask you please email me your opening attempts (aka First Lift) in advance so we may get a jumpstart on assembling the flights for each lift. Please be aware that you are not locked into the numbers you submit. You will be allowed to adjust if need be.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IF YOU MISS AN ATTEMPT, YOU CANNOT DO DOWN!!! YOU MUST REPEAT THE WEIGHT OR GO UP.

Having the openers ahead of time, HELPS US FACILITATE THE SET UP THE FLIGHTS FOR YOU. As a competitor myself, I know very well, the first words out of a lifter's mouth is "ARE THE FLIGHTS POSTED???"

You can email them IN POUNDS to:
[email protected] with the Title “All Outta Bubblegum”, Please! I have multiple Meets running right now, and openers coming in from all of them. Please don’t make me hunt through the list to find what Meet you’re lifting in.
ALSO, PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO SEND YOUR ATTEMPTS IN. The sooner I have them, the less stressful it is for me to build the flights.
**********************************************************************************

RULES CLINIC.
It is in your best interest to attend to make sure you are aware of the rules we have in place and know what is expected of you. If you fail to attend, you only have yourself to blame if you have a lift turned down. Please re-read the RPS RuleBook: http://www.revolutionpowerlifting.com/rules/

Rules Clinic will be Sunday at 8am
First flight Lifters will begin warming up by 8:15am
Lifting begins @ 8:45am

A word of warning, this (and Every RPS Meet) is a family friendly event, and as such, foul language will not be tolerated. You will be warned, or depending on the severity of the utterance, removed from the premises. Throwing F-bombs on the platform, will get you Red Lights, automatically, and could result in your lift being negated. If it’s egregious, You will be removed from the Meet, and your lifts will be wiped from the results. This includes if it comes from your coach or teammate.
**********************************************************************************
I know that sometimes it’s tough to sort through the rule book and understand what is in there, but it is your duty to ask a question if you don’t understand. Be it by email, or phone call, please ask the question. I don’t want anyone showing up at the Meet only to realize they need to be wearing a Singlet to compete.

If you don’t have a Singlet, check Dick’s Sporting Goods, Liftinglarge.com, customsinglets.com, or various other avenues. You must be wearing a singlet to compete. Shoes are optional on the Deadlift. Shoes are required on the Bench Press.
**********************************************************************************

I will be onsite Saturday the 12th, for most of the day, however, if you need to reach me it is advisable to call my cell. My number is 508-977-2454 . Please do not rely on email, as I won’t be constantly checking it. Also, if it goes to voicemail, please leave one, and I will return your call.

6 weeks out and it's going to be a blast.

RPS All Outta Bubblegum.

12/19/2021

At this time, we have 27 lifters registered for All Outta Bubblegum in February. That's more than halfway full. We have it capped at 45 lifters.
I am quite happy to see that, as this means we've already surpassed last years event.

While this is not a Charity event, we are working with the Animal Protection Center of Southern Mass to have them at our event. On the day of the event, if you'd like to bring new blankets, toys food or cleaning supplies, they will have a Rep there to take donations for the animals.

Absolutely, simply floored.
At today's Bigger Than Yourself Meet, the final tally, was $5,550 raised for Animal Rescues.

How do I even put words together for.this? I can't. I just keep.rolling that number around in my head and am amazed.

Gene once told me, that If it weren't for the Lifters, I wouldn't be here.
And even though he's been gone for 2+ years his words continue to ring true and teach me lessons.
I wish he were here to see that number, and what the Lifters of RPS can do.

And there are so many others that I want to Thank, but there are too many to list.

Thank you all, for everything you do.

And the Flight Lists are ready. If there's a zero next to your name, that means I don't have your openers.

Bigger Than Yourself roster has been posted!

The Structural engineer cleared us of any floor issues, so there's going to be Another RPS Meet in CT

June 2022!!

So, this guy.
He decided to start training me with a year ago. Little did he realize what that actually entailed. This weekend, I dragged him across 6 states, we set up the Meet, he got beaten up, spotting and Loading through the Meet, the packing back up.

Guys like him get an extra big Thanks, as without him, these Meets are so much harder.
