Complex trauma is this insidious thing. We assume that we didn't have it that bad, there was a roof over our heads, and we know our parents did our best, but we still carry these old stories that are just dying to come out so they create a pattern. It's so freeing when you finally let the story out. The pattern loosens. One client this week said, "I'm so much lighter, I'm not taking things personally, I'm so different, I feel so good."

Look at this little one. My precious girlfriend. My sugar face. Leda-machine! What’s everyone’s plans for the weekend? Do you celebrate Easter? I’m going to make spinach pie. Yum.

I’ve been embarking on deep trauma work. As I peel back the layers of historical stuff from my childhood, like the layers of an onion 🧅, new pieces of the story become clear. What I’m realizing is that it’s a lot easier to shop online (my current vice), renovate the house, take a hit of a joint, drink a quarantini, or whatever you do to avoid feeling into the pain is simply not going to help you in the long run. We all do it though, because what else can we do with the pain? It’s easier to stay in action. So I have a waitlist for my somatic trauma work. Lmk if you want to learn more about this transformative experience. You gotta move this stuff if you want to be free of it. And I’m here for it. Let’s do this!

7 shootings in 7 days. Asian hate crime. Mental health, racism, gun violence at what point is it enough to change things? On a soul level need to heal our country, we need to heal ourselves. Practically, it’s embarrassing that the gun legislation and the laws around domestic terrorism and racism haven’t been updated. The NRA needs reform... just because you have money and lobbyists shouldn’t mean that you get to destroy the fabric of our country. The system is due for some transformation.

You around Sunday? On the third Sunday of every month we will head into the woods, we'll set an intention for the walk, and then we learn a survival skill led by a different facilitator.

Being outdoors itself is rejuvenating, being with great people lifts the spirit, and learning a survival skill, like fire building, connects you to your source and empowers you in a rapidly changing world.

This Sunday is Fire Building! We will supply what you need. There will be an intention setting and silent component too bring us within.

We have a small donation for supplies and we will give a % of the proceeds to the local Wampanoag tribe. I'm still working on this. Also the price may change depending on the supplies we need.
