Our Chairman and President Emeritus Ryan Hong (2021-2023) had the opportunity to receive a visit from THE Adam Bobrow at the NCTTA Alumni Night in New York City.

While he did get snaked a few times, it is most important that both met and had in common their shared passions for table tennis, which Ryan left with when he graduated in May, and Adam’s passion effect can be seen globally.

This weekend, the BU Table Tennis Team hosted Harvard and MIT for a special event - celebrating the 30th anniversary of college table tennis . Chairman Ryan presided over the recreation of the first match in the USA between Harvard and BU 30 years ago, as well as the inaugural Charles River Cup. Congratulations to Harvard for first place! Thank you Harvard and MIT for making it such a special day and the blossom of a new partnership.

Introducing our president: Ryan Hong

Ryan is studying in Questrom majoring in International Business. Naturally, the world is his oyster. He grew up in New York City and in Xiamen, China before moving back to the States. He has studied abroad in Europe and travelled to nearly all of Western Europe. He once drove around the perimeter of the USA 30 days straight and is an H-mart star - kind of. His favorite player is Xu Xin.
