We are a diverse community of scholars at BU that take an interdisciplinary approach to investigating issues surrounding our planet and environment.

We are a community made up of 30 faculty members, 211 undergraduate concentrators, 101 graduate students, and researchers and scholars from all over the world. Our 2019 Conference Keynote is Michael Dietze, Associate Professor in the Department of Earth & Environment at Boston University. Professor Dietze will address ecological forecasting and its application to citizen science. Professor Dietze leads the Ecological Forecasting Laboratory, the mission of which is to better understand and predict ecological systems.
