Emerson College Men's Tennis

A big congratulations to our 3 seniors Jayden, Noah, & Carlson for graduating this past weekend! After graduation Noah heads to work in the film major in LA, Carlson heads to the University of Alabama to pursue a Masters in Strategic Communications and then law school, and Jayden is staying at Emerson to complete her Masters in Writing Literature and Publishing and will compete on the team next year! Congratulations to Jayden, Carlson, and Noah we are so proud and thankful for all that you have contributed to the program and the school! We can't wait to see all the great things you will accomplish in your careers! Don't forget to visit!

Some more awards from a historic year! Filippo Nocchi was awarded the Emerson Male Student-Athlete of the Year and was awarded first team all-conference in singles and doubles. Connor Leung was also awarded first team all conference in doubles. The selections were Emerson tennis's first all-conference selections since 2019! Congratulations Filippo and Connor!

On Sunday, Emerson had its annual Athletics Banquet where we got to celebrate another great season! Congratulations to all of our amazing student-athletes!

At the Banquet, the men's team was awarded the Men's Sports Performance Award for all of their hard work in the gym this year, while the women came in at second place for the Women's Sports Performance Award.

Filippo Nocchi was also honored at the ceremony winning Male Student-Athlete of the Year and was awarded with CSC All-American Strength and Conditioning honors. Congrats Fily!

Wishing a very Happy Birthday to our Senior Captain Carlson Jones! Carlson is a Visual Media Arts Major from Beachwood, Ohio. Carlson is an incredibly kind, empathetic, and caring human being and Captain!When she is not hanging out with her friends you can find Carlson serving as the Film SGA senator, hosting an hour on WEBN (the campus radio station), and directing or producing numerous films on campus. After graduating this spring Carlson will be pursuing a Master's in Strategic Communication at the University of Alabama and a law degree after that. Happy Birthday Carlson, we hope you have a great day and are enjoying the first 2 days of retirement from collegiate tennis!
