Winthrop Youth Wrestling returns for our Fall 2026 session! We will be running a fall session two days a week (Wednesdays and Thursdays) in Winthrop at the Parks and Rec Memorial Gymnasium.

This session is open to children in grades K-8 from Winthrop and the surrounding community (we are NOT limited to only Winthrop residents). Practice times will be in the late afternoon after 5:30 pm. Exact times are still TBD and will be based on the ages of the participants. The session cost is $195 for the first child, and $60 for the second sibling, and then a cap of $299 for large families with 3+ siblings. Please contact us for scholarship and financial aid opportunities if needed.

Summer wrestling program registration is now live! Our summer program is for wrestlers ages 6-13 and includes two weekly practices: Mondays 5-6:15 pm and Sundays 6:45-8 pm. Our strongest showing ever at the always tough Headlocks on the Hudson tournament in Troy, New York

This tournament features 2 rounds of Greco Roman wrestling and all later rounds in Freestyle. We were particularly strong in the Greco rounds, with all of our medalists going undefeated in Greco.

Winthrop wrestling returns this spring! We will be running a spring session on Thursdays in Winthrop. Practices begin the week after April vacation, and will take place in the Arthur T Cummings school gymnasium at 40 Hermon St in Winthrop.

This session is open to children in grades K-8 from Winthrop and the surrounding community (we are NOT limited to only Winthrop residents). We will split our group into 2 practice sessions, with the younger wrestlers training from 6:00-7:00 and the older wrestlers 7:00-8:20. The session cost is $115 for the first child, and $50 for each additional sibling. Please contact us for scholarship and financial aid opportunities if needed.
