Trinity College Women's Rowing

This past Saturday we had our 2026 Trinity Rowing Banquet on campus. We gathered to kick off the spring racing season, honor the 50th anniversary of the legendary 1976 Henley Royal Regatta Champions, and celebrate the achievements of current student athletes. We left the event inspired and fired up for the spring season! It goes without saying, the Trinity Rowing Family is incredibly special and second to none. We hope to see you at the next one!

Trinity Athletic Giving (TAG) Week is underway! Show your support for Trinity Women’s Rowing! Right out of the gates this year there has been a $10,000 match offered. Let rally the TWR family and support our current student athletes experience. Last year we brought the house down during TAG week, do it again this year! Every donation counts as there is additional money unlocked for reaching our goal of 100 donors and having the highest giving percentage. Let’s go Trinity Women’s Rowing! Happy National Girls and Women in Sports Day from TWR! Today we honor the past, celebrate the present, and encourage the future Trinity Women’s rowers and female athletes everywhere.

If you have a 5th -8th grade girl and are in the Hartford area this Saturday, please see the second slide for a flyer to our NGWSD event that we are hosting on campus on Saturday Feb 7th at 1pm.

We had an awesome Head of the Charles weekend. The 1v 8+ somehow managed to win a medal in the Collegiate 8+ despite getting stuck in some significant traffic. The 2v 8+ flew down the course finishing as the second 2v in the event and 12th overall. The 3v 8+ finished in 25th place, an outstanding result. Our collegiate 4+ entry finished in 18th place and re-qualified the boat for next year for the first time since 2019!!!

We had a total of 42 athletes racing including 10 alums across 6 boats. All in all an epic weekend and it was very exciting to see the team throw down some solid performances, qualifying 4 boats for next year and taking home some hardware!

Thank you to all who hosted and took care of our athletes. It was great to see so many parents and alums over the weekend.

Next stop, Philly! Go Trinity!!!

TWR had an awesome day down at the Head of the Housatonic this morning in Shelton, CT. The v and 2v led the way finishing 1st and 2nd, but all boats had solid races. The 3v finished 4th and the 4v finished 7th. We also had two 4+’s racing in the afternoon finishing 6th and 11th. We are rocking and rolling towards our last two regattas of the fall: the head of the Charles in Boston next weekend and the Head of the Schuylkill the following weekend

We are back in action! Hartford served up glorious weather for our first day on the Connecticut River.

Day 1 Mission: get the boats wet ✅

It was something special watching the First Year Class of 2029 8+ row on the water for the first time together!

The Trinity Women had an amazing day at the Head of the Schuylkill! Lots of great racing and medals, too! Thank you to everyone who supported this team this season, and we will be back in the spring!
