The friendliest running club in one of Boston's most welcoming neighborhoods, the Brighton Bangers meet Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. Post-run gatherings on Wednesday nights at the Last Drop (the diviest bar) now that it’s back open. It's free, open to anyone, and a great way to make fast friends, find running buddies, and discover new running routes. We also run together at events of all distances (most involving beer), have occasional social gatherings, and generally mix fitness and fun.

We rambled to another great Grand Prix showing at the James Joyce 10k in Dedham on Sunday! Shout out to Ian for captaining the race and everyone for tackling the hills across a tough course! Our next race is May 17 at the Harpoon 5 miler - and the second half Grand Prix schedule is now available - mark your calendars for fall racing!

The trashiest Bangers on the Muddy River strike again! We rolled up our sleeves, filled our bags , and transformed one of our favorite rivers from mucky to lucky in just a few hours. Thanks to for leading our cleanup crew and thanks to everyone who came out!

Big day at the 26x1 yesterday! We had 26 runners complete 8 laps and a whole lot of spectators cheering them on - big thanks to for organizing our team and to .png for the photos!! Come join us at mile 23 of the marathon tomorrow!

A fun and meaningful Saturday giving back at ! We put our heart and sole into cleaning shoes that will be distributed to kids in need throughout the Boston area. Huge thanks to .8_ and the Community Service Committee for organizing, and to everyone who showed up to volunteer and make a difference!

We had a great crew at the Resolution Run 5k to Kick Cancer in Lexington - where we won the overall team award and scored plenty of PRs! Thanks to .piccone for captaining and recruiting!! Our next Grand Prix race is the Super Sunday 5k on Feb. 8th in Cambridge - see you there!
