5 years ago I took a summer holiday trip to Biarritz, France in the southwest. It’s a beautiful coastal town with a relaxed vibe and good for surfing 🏄‍♀️ in fact I took my first surfing lesson there, but unfortunately, I didn’t quite catch on as quickly as I do with snowboarding 🏂

Last days of summer are inching closer. Missed having some beach vacays this year. Instead I will reminisce of my trip to Paphos, Cyprus a few years back ☀️

Where did you go for Summer Break?

Last year I ran the TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS 🏃‍♀️ I took a year off and now I have the itch for another big race.

I joined the lottery for 【Official】東京マラソン財団/TokyoMarathonFoundation for the 14th year in a row 😅 I won’t hold my breath. But I am@a bit disappointed as I wanted to register for the adidas Stockholm Marathon but there was some website issues at the start of the day yesterday and I figured I would register today but it already sold out 🫣

Any other suggestions for a Europe spring marathon?

Last week in August, I don’t even want to think about it 😭 Summer has been hot but enjoyable. A couple small trips to Madrid, South of France and Zagreb, but my big trips will be in October. So I guess something to look forward to as summer quickly slips away.

For 3 weeks to celebrate the end of Summer before back to school starts, the fair opens up with rides, games, and restaurants and parties and the last day September 9th there are fireworks to close out the event 🎆🎉🎡

It’s an annual tradition, will you participate?

One year ago today, I was training for TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS while I was visiting Fox Glacier, New Zealand 🇳🇿 Winter Time there, I traveled for 3 weeks around Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji with varying degrees in temperature and only an 8kg carry on suitcase.

Would you survive with only a carry on luggage?

First time in ages we’ve had bit of rain and a reprieve from the heatwave. A nice little run = pure happiness 😍
