Cape Cod WAVES Girls Ice Hockey

Last night was great!! Thank you for coming out and celebrating a fantastic season! We love the posts, and photos! It's like the girls are toting Lord Stanley's Cup!!!!! It's great to see such excitement and enthusiasm!

Congratulations to our Board of Directors for the 2013-2014 Season! Thank you to everyone who came out last night.

Dave Foster was honored with the MB3 Award for outstanding volunteerism to hockey--girls hockey. Dave was joined by fellow coaches Clyde Lennon, Chris Faux, Steve Weeks, Ken Weeks and Brian Eastman

Due to the GREAT turnout--and players' hard work--the WAVES & SHARKS have a robust portfolio of teams heading into the 2013-2014 season! We are very excited about next season! May even have a National-Bound team in the mix!!!!!

Thank you to Brian Eklund and Chuck Jancatarino for conducting the WAVES & SHARKS Evals this season. Also, thank you to the Evaluators--Dave, Stephan, John--none of whom have a child in the program. This combination allowed us to conduct completely unbiased Evaluations. Our commitment is to hockey--GIRLS HOCKEY--not politics!

All players did a great job during evals! Lots of hustle and hard work, and a GREAT turnout!! Thanks to all the folks who made it happen for the kids. Check-in volunteers, evaluators, on-ice coaches. The entire process was very smooth. Thank you to everyone.

BC & BU both playing today in Minnesota. Good luck to both teams! We would love to see ALL Hockey East Women's Finals!

Congrats to U-12 WHITE!! 2nd Place finish in Waterville this Weekend! Amanda, Cat, Kira scored for WAVES. Inspired effort by Lucy in Goal. Solid effort by everyone on the roster.
