After 133 episodes and not missing a single week for about 20 months, we are taking a break!
There will be NO class tomorrow!
A huge thank you to our amazing community and MOVE Squad. With the holiday season here and many events in the coming weeks, we have decided to take a small break from our community Zoom class.

Client Spotlight - READ TO THE END
All of our clients are remarkable, and thanks to our incredibly educated coaching staff, all make incredible strides in their training. However, every once in a while, someone really just crushes it.
Lena Surilov has been training with MOVE for her endurance goals for the last almost 3 years now. Lena has a bright future as a runner, especially coming into the sport almost accidentally in her late 30's.
At the end of 2018, she came to us consistently injured and frustrated with a marathon time of 3:23:54. She was motivated to get on the right track and entrusted us with her strength training. I could go on an on about how we worked together, the training plan, and her pathway...but...
What honestly really matters is that she just came back from London, not only finishing her 6 majors, but crushing an 11 MINUTE PERSONAL RECORD, smashing her sub 3 hour goal with a 2:57:39 finish time. She has pr'd in every single race since she has begun working with us...and remained injury free.
We are proud to help be part of the successes of Lena and look forward to see how far she can go in the sport! Congratulations Lena!

Over the last week, I have had a couple of instances of this, and was honestly impressed, so I wanted to share.
There is a lot of talk and concern about virtual training, minimal equipment, losing strength/movement patterns, and returning to other movements once back in a gym setting.
Tania here has been traveling across the United States for months now. She has remained consistent training virtually and has a few bands and a couple of kettlebells. We have had to get very creative ;).
Pre-pandemic, Tania would train in-studio with me anything from BB overhead squats, to BB cleans and the like. While on the road, we have continued to work on solidifying her stability through movement patterns, and working primary patterns to not lose anything she had previously gained.
She was excited recently to have found a gym to train at with barbell access and wanted to give some movements a go! I had some hesitancy, as it had been over a year since we had cleaned...However, our work together proved itself!
This video is her hitting a complex and her mechanics remained excellent! We hit some solid percentage work, and both of us were very happy with the outcomes.
This just goes to show you that with appropriate programming and movement pattern choice(s), you can not only maintain, but PROGRESS even in odd scenarios!

Introducing new MOVE Coach - Ghadi El Helou
brings a wealth of knowledge to the MOVE Team. Not only is he an ACSM certified Trainer, he has a degree in exercise science, is currently pursuing a physical therapy degree, has completed advanced education classes in weight training, and has experience as a physical therapy aid in a hospital setting!
He also played professional soccer in Lebanon!
His previous training experience and his knowledge base allows him to fit right in here at MOVE and immediately begin adding value.
We are excited to have him as part of our team and he is eager to work with new clients as well! His bio is below.
With a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in the making, Ghadi's passion for fitness stems from his days playing professional soccer in the Lebanese National League as well as Varsity Soccer in college. Always on top of his physical game, Ghadi enjoys helping others achieve the same feat.
