While different fundings have been cut, we appreciate such donations which helps further our efforts to give back to our communities and support our free youth program!

Aaand that’s a wrap for our 2026 Beasts from the East Classic!!! Thank you so much to all our sponsors and collaborators, as well as the teams, coaches, volunteers, and staff for making this all happen! What a fun first BftEC, with teams racing in 200m and 500m races, ending with a 2km exhibition race. Congrats to all our participants for pushing hard towards the finish line, and our raffle winner, Andrew, who won a Hornet Watersports paddle and tip guard!

Y’all already know what time it is: it’s the first ever BEASTS FROM THE EAST CLASSIC taking place this Saturday August 1st at the Fort Point Channel! Watch as teams take it to the water and battle it out for the title of TOP BEAST 🐉🐉🐉

Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase ($5 for one, $20 for five) for the chance to win a BRAND NEW Hornet Watersports PADDLE AND TIP GUARD!! They will be available for purchase at our registration table and all proceeds will be going towards our efforts in the community and our free youth program!

Don’t forget to enjoy the Fort Point Dragon Boat Festival with Hidden History AIR NEU at 15 Necco from 12pm to 5pm, where you can enjoy participatory art and community events, as well as performances by Kwong Kow Athletics and Vivian Luo ツ 羅婉如 🎻🌈!!

What makes an action-packed summer even more fun? Another exciting dragon boat event! This time, you can side quest with our very own NextONE!

Happening on Aug 1st-Aug 2nd, in collaboration with the USDBF Youth Committee, Ohana New England will be hosting and running a FREE youth camp in Boston for paddlers ages 14-18, with any and all skill levels!

Whether you’ve paddled for several seasons, only just started, or haven’t even heard of dragon boat until this post, our boats are here for you. It’s going to be a hot summer anyway, might as well find another, more fun way to stay cool, right?
