Tomorrow evening, 8/13/26 we have the incredible honor of celebrating the legacy of Shawn Hartline as he is posthumously honored with a brick on Pop Keeney’s Wall of Honor.

Gates open at 5:15 PM, and the ceremony begins at 6:00 PM.

Shawn was a Bothell coach and former President of BCJFA before moving on to serve as President of GEJFA. He dedicated more than 35 years to coaching, volunteering, and giving back to the kids and families in our community.

We would love to see former players, coaches, community members, and our current BCJFA families come out to celebrate him.

Wear your Bothell blue, your old jersey, or anything that represents Bothell.

Our current families may not have had the opportunity to know Shawn personally, but his impact reaches every one of you. His years of work and, especially, his leadership as President of GEJFA helped build and sustain the organization that keeps our clubs running today. So much of what we have would not be possible without the foundation Shawn helped create.

Our practices begin at 6:30 PM, so we completely understand that many of you may not be able to stay for the entire ceremony. Even stopping by for a little while would mean so much. Shawn’s family will be there, and we would love for them to see just how far his legacy reached.

Come help us show his family what his years of service meant to this community.

Our hearts are with the Heitmann family as they grieve the unimaginable loss of their sweet boy, Beau

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Beau’s family, teammates, friends, coaches, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. The loss of a young life is felt throughout an entire community, and we hope Beau’s family can feel the love and support surrounding them during this incredibly difficult time.

The Bothell community is more than teams, schools, and organizations—we are a family. And when one of our families is hurting, we come together.💙

We know a few families missed the first day, so we wanted to make sure everyone knows where to be today!

⏰ 6:30–8:30 PM

Your child will either be on the Baseball 90 or the Football Field, depending on which team they are on.

🏈 Football season is here! 🏈

Tackle football officially starts Monday, and we can't wait to get the season underway!

We still have a few spots available on our Rookies and Cubs tackle teams, so if you've been thinking about signing up, there's still time! Please email [email protected] for registration details

🏈 Flag Football registration is also still OPEN! Our flag season kicks off in September, making it a great opportunity for kids to learn the game, have fun, and be part of the Cougar family. Registration can be found at www.bcjfa.org
