The 2026 season has been a slow ferment, a long proof if you will, and we couldn’t be more psyched to share it with you all. 🤘

We are Thank Gravel It’s Friday — a gravel community born from the roots of surf and skate culture, built on the idea that riding bikes should be FUN and hard, free, and a little against the grain. No dress code, no gatekeeping, just good people and good vibes.

California. Colorado. Race weekends. Overnighters to beach parties. Campouts to holiday rides. Monthly rides in both states, two annual TGIF events, and shakeout rides at events you’re already going to — all semi-supported, always free, always a good time.

This year we’re rollin’ with Canyon Bicycles to bring the stoke levels to 💯 — and bringing a brand new 2026 TGIF kit we designed with Giordana. Vittoria, Knog, Better Bolts, Stan’s and Tailwind are also showing up for the community throughout the season. These brands believe in what we’re building and we’re grateful — but make no mistake, this is still your ride!

It’s been a while since we pedaled under the moonlight. Nothing in your periphery but what your light casts onto, which creates such a different type of ride. It slows you down intentionally, and familiar trails become new again. With some gravel casual attire and good company, you can’t beat it!

Halloween falls on a Friday this year, so we had no other choice but to host a spooky gravel ride. Come shake your BOOtys and ride 25 miles with us, stuff your face full of candy, and have a beer around the fire pit post-ride.

Our friends at Giordana said those who dress to impress will win one of their new cargo winter bib tights… second place will get a TGIF swag bag and a beer. So please come out in a costume, it’s supposed to be fun!

This is our ask… share this with as many people as you can. Let’s scream from the rooftops.

The cycling industry is a multi billion dollar per year industry. In a space where spending egregious amounts of money on equipment and races is normal, we are calling more brands like and to support local grassroots organizations like TGIF. You’re seeing running groups blow up around the world right now because you can spend $100 on a pair of running shoes and join one. In a space where the barrier to entry is 30x that, and races are also a $3000 weekend, it’s going to make it tough to grow the sport. Don’t get us wrong, we love our favorite gravel races, and we will continue to support them. But how can we get this industry to support the riders who make it?
