“I have spent a lot of time outside. I have also spent a lot of time being gay. The longer I sit with both, the harder it is to separate the two.”
In a powerful reflection on The Link, LGBTQ Outdoors founder Justin Yoder explores why the value of q***r outdoor spaces runs much deeper than visibility. Through sharing his story, Justin offers real wisdom into the ways difficulty, trust, and community are essential for helping us all find belonging and courage to face adversity together.

Less convenient? Maybe. But sometimes that’s exactly what we’re after. 😌

🚨 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁! 🚨
Please help us welcome Jenny, our new Chief Marketing Officer!
Fun fact: she lived in Argentina for a stint as a teenager, so her love for new places and experiences runs deep. These days, her favorite adventures involve packing up her trusty Thule cargo box for ski trips and camping weekends with family. If she were an animal? She says she'd be a turtle, because "who doesn’t love hiding out every once in awhile!?"
We're stoked to have her on board!

Safe to say our team got the most out of the long weekend as we scattered to spend time with the people (and pups) we love most in some pretty sweet places.
We always enjoy the fun and rest we get in these moments, but it’s not lost on us that we have this time and these spaces because of the ultimate sacrifice many men and women have made to serve and protect our country. For that, we’re forever grateful.
