**A reminder that our demo bikes are NOT rentals. We do not provide tools, flat kits, helmets, or any other personal protective equipment. If you are traveling from out of town, or looking for a short term rental, we are happy to inform you about local riding and make rental recommendations.

Boulder County is proposing an alternating-use pilot program that would restrict mountain bike access at Heil Valley Ranch, Hall Ranch, and Betasso.

The data shows that the system-wide conflict rate is only 4%, meaning 96% of observed interactions between trail users involved no reported conflict. The irony is hard to miss — in a city that coins itself bike friendly, mountain bikers continue to be pushed out.

Instead of restricting action, the focus should be on better design — doesn’t have a single mile of dedicated bike-only trail access across its 100,000+ acres of public land.
