Larry Watson, who died July 21, 2004, was a former coach, athletic director (21 years), and long-time faculty member (36 years) at Olivet.
The Larry Watson Memorial Golf Series was established to honor the legacy of Coach Larry Watson by raising critical dollars to help underwrite scholarships for freshmen at Olivet Nazarene University. Coach Watson shaped the mission statement of the Department of Athletics: “To Provide an Opportunity for Ministry Through Athletics.”

Thank you for participating in the 46th Annual Olivet Open! It was such a great day, despite the rain, and we could not be more grateful for the many ways these folks are supporting ONU Athletics.
Save the date for the 24th Annual Olivet Invitational and join us for another Larry Watson Memorial Golf Series event. We will be in sunny Arizona, February 18-20, 2027, for some desert golf. Hope to see you there!
