Hole 8 is the shortest par 3 on the course but still provides a good challenge. The false front and very steep green requires a really solid iron shot to hit the green.

Our grounds crew has the course in great shape—the greens are rolling very well even with all the storms we’ve been getting, fairways and rough are healthy, and the layout offers a good test for players of all skill levels. ⛳️

Stop 3-putting by fixing the single biggest flaw in your stroke: tempo inconsistency. 📉👇

Most amateurs mess up their speed control because they take the exact same length backswing for every putt.

To hit a long putt, they jab at it fast; for a short putt, they slow down and decelerate.

Changing your tempo from stroke to stroke makes distance control almost impossible to dial in. ❌

The fix is keeping a steady, smooth tempo—like a pendulum—no matter the length of the putt. ⏱️

Stop grabbing your sand wedge for every single chip around the green. If you’ve got room for the ball to roll, a simple bump-and-run with a pitching wedge is a way safer bet. 📉🎯

Two big reasons to make the swap:

* Smaller Swing: Less loft means a shorter backswing, which pretty much eliminates those awful chunks and thins. ❌

* Predictable Roll: High wedges generate random spin. A pitching wedge gets the ball rolling on the ground early so it reacts just like a putt. 🎯

Keep your short game simple and your scores will follow. 📈💥
