How to Tread Water 🏊♂️. -
✔️ Lean back slightly and stay relaxed
✔️ Move your hands in small circular motions (sculling)
✔️ Kick your legs in a eggbeater, frong, bicycle or flutter kick motion
✔️ Keep steady, controlled breathing
The key: smooth movements, not fast ones. Stay calm and let the water help keep you afloat. 🌊💙.
New swimmers are not always aware of their body posture and kick gape and alignment. Using a device inbetween one’s legs can make them more conscious of their legs and help them focus on the skills on not so much stay afloat.
Learning to swim in all about the trust. Relax and enjoy the process. You’re safe here.

When a student is learning alignment or anything; it’s all about words of affirmation. An ego boost goes a long way to discourage fear and holding back. Chin up, chest up streamlined body. You got this, your safe.
