MARY JANE THURSTON DISC GOLF COURSE UPDATE:

GAS Disc Golf is working to get an 18-hole disc golf course installed at Mary Jane Thurston State Park in Grand Rapids, Ohio.
This is only possible through the generous sponsors that support our non-profit organization and our mission to promote disc golf with a community focus.

We want to thank our permanent sponsors for their support. Each individual or company that permanently sponsors a hole at Mary Jane Thurston will have their branding engraved on their respective hole's tee sign and it will remain there for the lifetime of the tee sign.

Along with this, while our permanent sponsors are waiting for their tee signs to be installed, we want to give each one the personal recognition they deserve.

Reminder that the GASDG Club Championship Tournament is on September 10th! All members are invited to join and can register on Disc Golf Scene (link below). Details are currently being worked on, but the goal is to host the event at Mary Jane Thurston State Park! GAS will be sanctioning the event as a C-Tier and it will be free to play!

If you are a member and have difficulties registering for the event, please reach out to us and we can get it resolved. Keep an eye out for more details as they develop! We hope to see you there for an exciting championship event!

NOTE: a reminder that the Club Championship tournament and Club Champions are two separate titles. GASDG's Club Championship event is its end-of-the-season, members-only 'crown jewel' tournament. Club Champions are divisional winners for the entire Club year based on points from sanctioned singles, Falcons Take Flight, and the Club Championship tournament

The 2022 GAS Disc Golf Club Championship The 2022 GAS Disc Golf Club Championship is a PDGA-sanctioned disc golf tournament in Grand Rapids, Ohio beginning September 10, 2022 and hosted by GAS Disc Golf.

Watch the live stream of the BG City Council Public Forum where, last night, GASDG petitioned the city council for a portion of the surplus ARPA (COVID relief) funding for improvements to Carter Park's disc golf course!

This Saturday, April 23rd, is the 2022 Falcons Take Flight C-Tier at Carter Park and we are extremely excited to see all 80+ of you!

We look forward to a great event and a fun atmosphere as we continue to promote disc golf with a community focus.

All proceeds from the event will go to the BGSU Disc Golf Club in an effort to support and promote them! BGSU's team is coming off a top 20 finish at the College Disc Golf National Championship and we look forward to watching and supporting them as they continue to build a top tier collegiate disc golf program. By supporting and/or participating in this event, you are helping to grow the sport of disc golf, promoting the community, and supporting the university's club team!

Week 5 of GASDG's 2022 Sanctioned Singles is official! 38 players came out to Carter Park this Friday. After only 5 weeks, we have already had 60 different players join us!

As a reminder, GASDG Club Championship standings are Mixed and Female Advanced, Intermediate, Recreational, and Novice divisions. PDGA divisions are used for payouts and reported, but GASDG Club points are awarded based on GASDG division finish (which are shown in the graphic).
