STATE SHOOT INFORMATION

Shoot times- We will start at 9:30am and 1:30pm central time both Friday and Saturday. Allow yourself plenty of time to pick up your score cards at registration and get to the range, especially on Saturday. The head count for Saturday is pushing 200 people so there may be a line for a little bit. Please be patient with our ladies at registration. They will take care of you as quickly as they can.
Practice ranges- There will be a small range near the barn venue for the 30 yard and under classes starting on Range D. There is a larger practice range in the woods near ranges A, B and C. It will be at 10-15 minute walk to get to your assigned target/range. Give yourself plenty of time.
Food- there will be food and drinks available to purchase during the lunch break between rounds and after the final rounds located at the barn. Kona ice is scheduled to be there as well. This is also cash only, preferably small bills.
Awards- We will process both the State Championship Scores and Final Shooter of the Year standings immediately following the afternoon round Saturday. This will take a little time to complete. During this time, please take the time to watch the Pro's, along with our Jr Eagle, Eagle, Youth and Young Adults as they will have a shootdown just outside the barn. If you think you have won either SOY or your class, we will have the awards and payouts available once the score are finalized. Stick around if you think you have won.
Shootdown Info- for our Shootdown with the kids, it will be the same rules as last year. We will take the top 5 scores from each division, (could be male against female or open shooter vs pins) and have a shootdown. This is strictly a bonus event that doesn't effect placement in State or Shooter of the year standings. All archers will start the shoot down at zero points to even the playing field. 14's are in play. The winner and runner up will take home a bonus plaque.
